Fire damage cleanup in South Florida
After a fire, the damage reaches far past the burned area. Smoke, soot, odor and the water used to put the fire out can affect every room and almost everything in it. Magnolia cleans the property and recovers the belongings inside it.

What fire leaves behind
Soot is oily and acidic. If it is wiped the wrong way it smears into paint, grout and fabric, and if it sits it can etch glass and discolor surfaces. Smoke odor settles into drywall, cabinets, upholstery and clothing. Water from firefighting soaks floors and contents. Fire cleanup means dealing with all of it in the right order so that cleaning one thing does not ruin another.
Structure and contents together
We clean walls, ceilings and surfaces, treat odor, and at the same time evaluate what can be saved. Belongings that need deeper cleaning are packed out, labeled by room and cleaned off site. Items that cannot be restored are photographed and listed for your claim. Nothing is thrown away without your approval.

Questions
Fire damage cleanup FAQ
How soon should fire cleanup start?
As soon as the fire department releases the property. Soot and smoke residue keep working on surfaces and fabrics, so the earlier cleaning starts, the more can usually be saved.
Can smoke-damaged belongings be saved?
Often, yes. Hard items like dishes, glass and furniture, and many clothes, linens and curtains can be cleaned and deodorized. We inspect everything and tell you what can be restored.
Do you work with my insurance company?
We document what we handle with photos and inventory so your adjuster has clear records. Coverage depends on your policy, so check the details with your insurance company or agent.
